Commit to not quit.

Have you ever desired better? Better for others, better for yourself, better for your kids, from your spouse, from your job, better from life? Your aren’t alone.

As living beings our existence, and the awareness of it, is always being examined and challenged to grow. Some of us are afraid of whats on the other side of the (metaphorical) mountain it takes to climb to get to “better”. Others of us start walking with out assessing the incline or possessing the discipline and perseverance it takes to get to “better”. We just start going for it. In desperation for reformation and restoration we go after it and we fail.

Is it failure?

If sitting down on the side of the mountain to replenish and regain strength is failure than so is never being brave enough to accomplish the climb in the first place. Preparation is key to finishing and so is the company that you keep. This blog is an invitation to join me in having the courage to stand back up and climb the mountain, more prepared and to approach each level of glory available to the brave, the fearless, the warrior, those who refuses to lose. Not just for themselves but for those around them as well.

How are you preparing?

It’s true, you can never be too prepared. Begin with the end in mind. How will your life impact the world, your community, or your family once you are gone? When is the last time you thought about how those that survive your death will go on after you are gone? What do you want to be said of your effort or your heart? Who else will benefit from you properly preparing to achieve victory in your climb? If you aren’t already, give some serious thought to the questions posed here and write down your responses. Be specific. What action can you take in the next 30 days to get 1 step closer to the finish line? Screen shot the “Cultivating Gratitude” Guide to develop one habit that you’ll need for long term climbing stamina.
